Hanwha Techwin Joins Wasabi’s Technology Alliance Network
For the past year and a half, Wasabi has been diving into the video surveillance market. We saw that the traditional physical security industry was ready to adopt the cloud. Since then, Wasabi has grown our partnership portfolio to include some of the biggest names in the surveillance space, like Milestone Systems and Axis Communications, and some of the most exciting up-and-comers, like Ava Security. We’re excited to add another partner to our list: Hanwha Techwin.
Hanwha Techwin is a leading manufacturer in the security industry, demonstrating consistent growth for over 40 years. The open architecture of Hanwha’s video management system, Wisenet WAVE, means that organizations can create custom solutions and incorporate new technology as it develops to solve any challenge their business is facing. Hanwha has customers in the retail space, cannabis, energy, education, and more.
Wasabi hot cloud storage is verified with Hanwha’s Wisenet Wave 5.0 VMS. By leveraging a combination of on-premises and cloud technology, users of Wasabi hot cloud storage and Wisenet Wave VMS can support high camera counts, high-definition resolutions, high frame rates, and long retention periods with exceptional reliability, affordability, and availability to meet the demands of video surveillance deployments. Additionally, with our air-gapped, secure, and immutable storage system, Wasabi can protect Hanwha’s customers’ data from cyberattacks and other disasters causing data loss.
We recently announced our partnership at the Global Security Exchange event in Atlanta, GA. GSX is a great place to grow and strengthen industry relationships, and we were able to kick off our partnership with Hanwha in a way we rarely get to do these days – in person! We were able to promote our joint press release to analysts, integrators, and customers throughout the three-day event.
Alongside excellent education sessions for security professionals and a buzzing expo floor, we connected with Hanwha’s customers and resellers at an evening event hosted at the Hard Rock Cafe, Atlanta. Over 800 attendees networked over a live band playing 1980s classics. Wasabi had a table alongside other Hanwha partners where we met potential new customers and educated integrators on the Hanwha-Wasabi partnership. Even after a long day of conference activities, attendees were eager to learn more about hot cloud storage.
We’re looking forward to many more events and partnership activities with Hanwha. If you want to stay in the know on all things Wasabi, follow Wasabi on LinkedIn. For a complete overview of the joint Wasabi + Hanwha Wisenet Wave solutions, visit our Hanwha partner page.
