The 4 Biggest Partner Stories for January
As the first month of 2020 draws to a close, it is time to reflect on another month of activity within the Wasabi partner ecosystem. In case you missed them, here are the top four partner stories for January!
Two Wasabi Partners Acquired in Deals Totalling Billions
The biggest partner news this month has to be the acquisitions of Wasabi partners Packet and Veeam. The bare metal compute platform provider Packet was purchased by global data center and interconnection provider Equinix, and one of the top providers of data protection technology, Veeam was purchased by New York-based private equity firm Insight Partners. Together, these two acquisitions total more than $5 billion. We are very excited for our partners and look forward to experiencing this new stage of growth with them both.
