Cloud Storage Experts Recognized as Honoree for Best Employers in Massachusetts

BOSTON, MA – April 11, 2019 – Wasabi, the hot cloud storage company, today announced that it has been named one of the best places to work in Massachusetts in the annual employee-based survey from Boston Business Journal. Honorees will be featured in a special section in the Boston Business Journal on June 21st.

The Boston Business Journal “Best Places to Work” award recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state, across multiple industries and is measured by the people who know them best – their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company and are divided into five different categories: extra small (20 to 49 employees), small (50 to 99 employees), medium (100 to 249 employees), large (250 to 999 employees) and extra large (1,000 employees and over). The survey along with the subsequent scoring of employee responses were provided in partnership with Quantum Workplace.

“Creating one of the best environments to work in is something that my team and I aspire to achieve every day, and to be recognized in the small business category by Boston Business Journal is very meaningful for our entire organization,” said David Friend, CEO of Wasabi. “Since launching in 2017, we’ve been on a rapid growth trajectory and the key component to our ongoing success is our dedicated employees. They are truly our most valuable asset and we work together to make each and every day enjoyable and fun.”

The 79 honorees will be celebrated at the Boston Business Journal annual event on June 19th at the Head of Concourse at the World Trade Center in Boston, where rankings and official winners will be announced.
