IBM is a global leader in providing infrastructure hardware and software to drive digital transformation of organizations.

IBM provides multiple technology solutions in the areas of cloud, AI, computing, open-source systems to solve many of the world’s problems.

IBM Cloud Satellite is IBM’s platform for building and deploying distributed, cloud-native applications at scale.

It allows for the creation of “satellite cloud regions” that can exist on-prem, at the edge, or in a private data center.  These regions can then run Kubernetes-based workloads, just as they would on public cloud architectures. IBM Cloud Satellite also provides a single common control plane for managing those satellite and cloud regions.

Customers implementing IBM Cloud Satellite will now be able to deploy solutions that work with Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage, regardless of where the Satellite region is deployed.  This means that customers with distributed solutions, on-prem, at the edge, in the data center, or in the public cloud can all work with Wasabi.
