Functionality modules, including video management, video analytics, security management, access control and data intelligence, can be used individually, added when needed, or combined together as a complete integrated solution. All managed devices report to a shared rules and alarms management system, enabling operators to perform site security or operational functions from a ‘single pane of glass’.

But what truly sets Senstar Symphony apart from other systems is its sensor fusion engine. By intelligently combining low-level sensor data with video analytics, the sensor fusion engine achieves the highest levels of performance, far beyond that of the individual devices. Senstar Symphony seamlessly incorporates sensor fusion, event algorithms, and rule-based actions to provide unmatched capabilities, flexibility, and performance.
Wasabi’s hybrid cloud storage solution for the Senstar Symphony Common Operating Platform extends its existing video management capabilities with cloud-based storage and simplified disaster recovery options. With a hybrid solution, recent video surveillance footage is stored locally to maximize performance while older footage is offloaded to the cloud for long-term storage. The solution is transparent to the end-user and enables organizations to benefit from the best features of both local and cloud-based solutions.
To connect Senstar Symphony and Wasabi solution together, a file system layer is used to connect the video file system and Wasabi S3 interface. This provides a uniform shared, global file system namespace across any Senstar device connected to Wasabi. With the file system layer, Wasabi object storage performs as a high-performance, file system volume shared, that is accessible from anywhere. From a high-level perspective, it functions like a network attached storage or file server, but both the clients and data repository can be located anywhere.

How it Works
Video Storage Costs That Are Predictable
From a cost perspective Senstar Symphony combined with Wasabi hot cloud storage provides the most affordable cloud storage environment for high quality video surveillance infrastructures, including high-definition and megapixel environments. While it’s true that digital video consumes a significant amount of space, it’s not so much the storage footprint that makes cloud storage impractical for security and surveillance companies, but rather the egress fees charged to customers to access their stored recordings. With Wasabi there are no fees for egress or API requests. There is only one line item on your bill and that is for storage used.
Safe, Secure, and Tamper-Proof
Wasabi is deployed in fully secure and redundant data centers that are certified for SOC-2 and ISO 27001 compliance. The service is architected in accordance with industry-best security models and design practices. Organizations can configure their individual video files or storage buckets to be immutable for a user defined retention period (in increments of days, weeks, months or years). Designated video files or files written to that bucket cannot be deleted or altered in any way, by anyone, throughout its storage lifetime. Immutability can help with compliance for state and local government regulations.
